How can you not feel a fly buzzing around and landing on your face?

You become so used to it that it's no longer noticeable. I imagine it's like working in a stockyard or on a shrimp trawler. After a while there is no smell. :-)

That I understand............but he's not in a stockyard or trawler, working the fields, etc. At best, this is a 'business' situation, and he doesn't even notice? I just find it really weird...........really weird.

Frankly, I find the whole thing weird/bizarre. I've never known any politician THIS attractive to flies.

A cowboy from Texas attends a social function where Barack Obama is trying to gather more support for his Health Plan. Once he discovers the cowboy is from President Bush’s home area, he starts to belittle him by talking in a southern drawl and single syllable words.

As he was doing that, he kept swatting at some flies that were buzzing around his head. The cowboy says, "Y'all havin' some problem with them circle flies?"

Obama stopped talking and said, "Well, yes, if that's what they're called, but I've never heard of circle flies."

"Well Sir," t he cowboy replies, "circle flies hang around ranches. They're called circle flies because they're almost always found circling around the back end of a horse."

"Oh," Obama replies as he goes back to rambling. But, a moment later he stops and bluntly asks, "Wait a minute, are you calling me a horse's ass?"

"No, Sir," the cowboy replies, "I have too much respect for the citizens of this country to call their President a horse's ass."

"That's a good thing," Obama responds and begins rambling on once more.

After a long pause, the cowboy, in his best Texas drawl says, "Hard to fool them flies, though."

I think we all know what flies are attracted to and where they come from.

I have a different thought. "Oh, to be a fly on the wall when they finally start figuring everything out." That's what my dad said to me the year before he died. And he was alluding to multiple things he accomplished that he could never talk about but which are coming to the surface slowly but surely.

So that brings me to the question: Who might this little fly be who has chosen to be a fly on Obama's forehead rather than off on a distant wall? Hmm. Gosh, could it be Ambassador Stevens, perchance, hoping to get an inside glimpse of scrambled factoids in an effort to find out, "What the hell happened?"

Or could it be Thomas Jefferson, lamenting, "What the hell is this man doing to my baby?"

Heavens, I could go on for days listing the many possibilities.But aw, heck, it's just probably a hungry little fly landing on the largest pile of dung in the room. Who knows.

Your English is fine, and you have a marginal point about denigrating other people being a violation of my religion. I would counter, though, by saying that I haven't really denigrated Obama by posting this. I'm just curious as to why flies seem to like him so much.
