Looking back, would you say you've had it easy or that your life has been difficult?

I have had to struggle throughout but I have learned to depend on myself and thank God for always having my back.

I've had a lot of life lessons to learn. Still, my life may be difficult much of the time, but it's also wonderful.

I am positive there are people worse off than I am... and I am sure there are people who look at me and think I have the short end of the stick... but God gives all of us challenges.

Very true. I think it's gratitude that makes the difference. We can either see the value in those challenges or bemoan our lot. Someone else always has it harder.

Four years ago i had it easy.But not anymore.

Well, in many ways I've had a good life, and enjoyed most of it, but now I am paying for the good life I've had. I've been in 4 shooting wars, scared shit-less a time or two, had 5 wives, scared shit-less a time or two, many more girlfriends, had 4 kids, two still live with me, scared shit-less a time or two. Been on every continent at least once except for Antarctica. Never made it down there. I've had most hobbies for a time. BUT, my body has paid the price, and now I am pretty stationary. And, while I am being paid, (Retirement and Disability) I am far from being rich, and thanks to President Bush, the economy is so bad, after having been a single parent for 16 years, my kids are unemployed and with significant others, live with me, at my expense. Life sure is good.

It's to long a story but life can always be worse is something to remember

I would say life is harsh no matter how you slice it, difficult to one is a cake walk to someone else, it's what you make of what you got that makes your life worth living,
and life isn't about the number of breaths you take, it's the moments that take your breath away!
Myself, my life so far has been as I planned it to be, abundant !

i had the most awful stepfather. but then again i have never been homeless or short of food and water,so maybe it has not been as bad as it could have.

I guess I would say it has been easier than some and harder than some, plus I'm only 21. There isn't really that far to look back.

My life is both. Because I am in the upper class with a big house, pool etc. But at the same time I'm not a snob and I still have to work for the things I want, because my parent (s) don't spoil me. [[at all]]

My life has been a cake walk compared to a lot of peoples lives. Though I don't have it as good as some. I have had my share of troubles and terrible experiences, but I've never gone hungry, never been homeless and never been abused by my family. I am very grateful for that.
