The tumor is not malignant, but he cannot afford to have it removed.

His 80kg tumour is record-breaking, but the size of his smile is what's really remarkable about Nguyen Duy Hai.

He has been living with it all his life and is now looking for help. Is this the scariest tumor ever?

I have watched many medical shows showing people having huge tumors, and they were able to remove them , but this is the biggest one I have ever seen I hope someone will be kind enough to help this guy out and remove it for him...without cost. I know he has got to be miserable about now. I take it, it has grown more?

It is frightening how long people are willing to put up with big, obvious, health issues. Education is the key.

As another SH poster noted, the scariest ones are the malignant ones that kill. The others are horrifying in that no doctor has stepped up to treat them.

Hiding it! Are you blind? Ya think people might start noticing when he had to start shopping for clothes in the tent section of sporting goods department!

You would be surprised what people manage to keep secret. I saw a woman with genital warts so massive she was waddling everywhere she went. She finally went to a hospital because she couldn't MOVE anymore. She hid it with larger and larger skirts and people didn't ask about the bump because it was embarrassing to bring it up and she wouldn't go out if she could avoid it.

The greatest irony to all that story is she was a WORKING PROSTITUTE while she had the growth. The hospital recorded the wart at about 18" by 12".

I have one question about that one: How did she pee?!

He probably couldn't cut that off and survive. If it weighs 80kg, he probably only weighs 50 kg. Vietnam has about the cheapest medical care in the world, so I doubt that it is about money.

The saddest part is the government where is lives allows that to happen. You can bet the officials get their free trips along with 1st class travel. Makes you wonderwhat is happening to society.

This is sad. This really puts life into perspective and makes you really think twice before complaining about all the little BS that people complain about on a daily basis. Most of our lives, including mine, is a walk in the park compared to what others like this man have to deal with. I wont complain about anything for a while now... God bless this man and I hope he gets the help he needs.
