It's official: Linsanity has swept the nation, particularly in New York City, where locals are renaming just about everything after sudden Knicks superstar Jeremy Lin. If you hate puns, you'd better stop reading now.

As the hype surrounding the 23-year-old reaches a fever pitch, New Yorkers are downing "Lin and Tonics," "Lintinis" and "Lin Burgers" at their local watering holes, The New York Post reports. "This drink kicks ass, just like Jeremy Lin!" Lintini-drinker Melanie Bernstein, 25, told the Post.
At the Blarney Rock Pub near Madison Square Garden (where the Knicks play), the Lin Burger comes with bacon, cheese and barbecue sauce (for $9.95). "I’d say we’ve seen a 7 to 10 percent bump in business during Knicks games recently, which has been really nice," manager Michael Higgins told the Post.
Lugo Caffe, also near Madison Square Garden, makes a Lin and Tonic with a brown olive (meant to look like a basketball). Burger joint Shake Shack is even serving a Jeremy Lin-Mint milkshake (chocolate mint cookie flavored), the Post reports.
Meanwhile, Lin denied dating Kim Kardashian in an interview with ESPN (where did THAT one come from?). "Stuff about me dating Kim Kardashian, I mean, I have no idea where that came from and all these other rumors," he said. Are you getting in on the Linsanity? Or do you think the puns and hype have gotten out of control?

This is going to be Linsain!
In a league where at least 70% of the players are black ... probably not.
During the 2010 NBA season, Raymond Felton helped the Knicks win six games in a row. The sixth win came against the Toronto Raptors when Raymond Felton hit a game wining three-pointer with 2.7 seconds left on the shot-clock. Felton finished the game with 28 points and 11 assists which gave him his 10th double-double of the season. Raymond Felton helped the Knicks win 11 out of 12 games during there winning streak; in addition, Raymond was averaging 18.6 points, 8.6 assist, 2.0 steals, and his shooting percentage was 47.1%. Interestingly, there was no Ray-sanity. So, the answer to your question is no.
