British model Alexa Chung recently tweeted a picture of her manicure and caused a frenzy for nail polish manufacturer Nails Inc. So, what was so special about her lacquered nails? The stylish Brit was sporting "leather nail polish."

The "Bling It On Leather Effect" polish isn't available to the public until December 13th, but already, the waiting list is almost 900 strong thanks to the tweet. What do you think of leather nail polish? Would you sport it?

It might be fun for some people, but it doesn't appeal to me. I would try a suede finish before I tried a leather one.

I actually like the look. No, it's not real leather. It looks remarkably like leather though after it dries. It's kinda like a flat paint, when it dries it leaves behind it's own texture. Now the black leather and skulls is the one I showed my wife. Neither of us can wait to see this hit the market. We both love it.
