There is a lack of education here. There was a poll taken by two homosexuals that showed that 73% of gays either had or intended to have sex with minor boys(from The Gay Report). Of course it was on the news about the 'priests'. 15% do it with animals(International Journal of Psychiatry). 65% of US, 87% in MN, aids cases are exclusively gay men(Dr. Polk, J.H. University). Sodomy is how it is spread due to the make up of the wall of the rectum (the vagina cannot be so penetrated)(AMA). Women should be made aware of this. Homosexuals are 15 times more likely to commit murder than hetros'(Inst. for the Scientific Investigation of Sexuality).
I know enough and hear about it far too much. I yearn for the days when we didn't have to hear constantly about people's private lives, hetero or homosexual. There is just too much preoccupation with sex in this country.
Well... Some say the glass is half full, others say it's half empty. Shouldn't we be more concerned with what's in the glass? If it's a half a glass of shit, I'm going half empty... That's all I'm trying to say.
Well, Sir Jim, I wasn't sure where you were going with this, but the phrasing of the question intrigued me, and appears to be inadvertently humorous. Now that I have opened the page, I also see an ad for Abortion On Demand, and a link to sign a petition. I'm not all for that either, but I'm just not going to click on it. Remember, we are not to judge others. We are to witness by our acts and deeds, and not by our words. Words are empty vessels. Bashing other's lifestyles was clearly addressed in "the lady at the well", if you'll remember. And let he who is without sin cast the first stone. While I wonder why a particular ad, as a cartoon of what appears to be two lesbians kissing, does not violate SodaHeads own TOS for "porn", it is not for me to judge. It doesn't affect my faith, or my relationships/witnessing towards my fellow humans being. Your intentions may be well founded, but your method perhaps needs a little work.
Slug, I agree only to the extent that God will judge those outside the faith. Christ calls us to admonish those inside the faith in Matthew 18 as the Apostle Paul does in 1 Corinthians 5. Paul instructs Timothy as well on the usefulness of Scripture to "rebuke" those in the faith.
So, if one doesn't profess Christ... the authority is not ours. However, for those who profess to be in Christ we are commanded also to "keep the yeast" out of the faith.
Perhaps you were. It appeared to be more of a blanket statement on a Christian exercising judgment of behavior. That was all I was addressing here. Aside from that, I agree with your original response.
ahh what are you talking about?...just go to any high school, watch TV, and live in the USA - its 10% of any population so its a human condition - having phobic problems? This usually a sign of an attraction....don’t drink to much, you just might act on the attraction, and then who will you bash?
Sir Jim, I guess you're talking about the advertising. I personally did not notice it until you polled but I can see it. I really think you should try to get over it instead of forcing your thoughts on others.
Marketing and sales is a business. If the ads don't work, the vendor will take them down and if they do, then they'll make money. Making money is what we do here in the USA. It's a good thing.
No one is stopping you from going to church. Get over trying to stop business people from making a buck off a viable market segment, IMHO.
Like all things in life ...you find what you're looking for:I see many types of God's people here Tall short, silly, serious, nice, mean, black, white, fat, thin, gay, straight I don't care as long as they are not rude
you are trying to say that you do not like homosexuals and anything and anyone just talking about it is homo and you don't like it?
I would suggest you delete your sodahead account.
You'll feel better about it all.
Happy Holidays!
