We've never really understood why Lauren Conrad is famous. OK, she starred on reality shows like "Laguna Beach" and "The Hills," but how did she manage to become a clothing designer and a novelist? Anyway, the latest news is that the 26-year-old has dyed her hair pink, or at least part of it. She tweeted a pic of her new hair on Tuesday with the caption "My Little (pink) Pony!"

On Wednesday, she blogged: "Last night was the final stop of my book tour for 'The Fame Game.' Seeing as it was the finale to a long tour, I decided to pull out all the stops. Okay, maybe not all but I did debut a freshly painted pink ponytail. I figure that I might as well have fun experimenting while I’m still young. And it’s only temporary so it’s really not that big of a commitment... Fashion is about having fun and taking chances. Plus the pink tipped pony added the perfect pop of color to my otherwise monochromatic look." What do you think? Do you like Lauren's partially pink pony?

Her roots are brown, the middle part is blonde and the tips are pink. Get it right SodaHead. Anyway, if you're going to dye your hair, dye your ENTIRE hair!
