I think you need to cry with a true friend especially someone has lost someone or something in their life. Keeping back your true feelings sometimes you are thought to have no feelings. Nurses were taught that so as not to upset patients and families. Sometimes I broke the rules when a child was lost and cried with parents.

I think that's true, but it is the tough times that a person finds out who their friends really are. I know who mine are, and that's all that matters...

I don't think so (the crying part). If I cry alone, it is because I choose to. I have friends that would be willing to hold my hand when I do it, I'm just not good at accepting that hand sometimes.

You sound like the majority and I think that is good. Embarrassing as it may be there really is good when your friends can support you in laughter or in crying.

That depends, Sister. If my buddy was standing close to me when she shot me in the eyes with the pepper spray, he cried too because that stuff sprays a wide stream.
