I got a ticket for blowing through a stop sign which I did not see because it was blocked by tree branches. Not only were the tree branches obscuring the stop sign, there were no stop markings on the road. Nevertheless, the cop issued me the ticket. I fought the ticket and surprizingly, I won.
Not using my turn signal and supposedly creating an unsafe situation. I fought the ticket and put in a personal complaint against this cop. After he gave me the ticket I followed him and saw that he didn't use his turn signal 3 times in a roll and he speeded through a residential subdivision. I ended up winning as the cop did not show up in court.
If there are 6 of us going 65 in a 55 zone, I will be the one that will get pulled over. You folks should thank me for being there for you these 50 years. Hell my wife with lead feet doesn't get caught at all.
I have only had one ticket. Was pulled over because tail lights were out. That was 30 years ago when there were no sensors and most people didn't know their tail lights were out until someone told them. I was able to reach in my clove box, pull out a fuse, plug it in, and get my lights working right there and then. That basturd still gave me a ticket.
