I prefer my laptop, I can sit anywhere I want! Which strangely (because it's the most uncomfortable place to sit), usually ends up being the kitchen...

I'm a laptop fan I don't own a desk top!

However with tablets emerging soon with the capability of running a full version of Microsoft Office that could change!

I have both but I use my laptop so much more that I can't even remember the last time I sat in front of my desktop. Just always on the move.

I love the portability of a laptop, but I have an EMF meter, and my laptops throw off big magnetic and electric fields which are strong enough to be stressfull on the body. So most of the time I use a desk top. That way I can have the tower a little way away from me, I can put the (wired) keyboard on my lap and since the monitor is much larger than my laptops I can still see it when it's a few feet away, so it's safer and at the same time more comfortable.

I have 1 laptop and 2 desktops and if anything goes wrong with his computer I have to deal with it too. Fun like last month when the router went out and I got to teach them all how to talk to the new one. Argh.

Interesting.. as a gamer all I spent was 15000 and that was years ago and I am still playing things on high quality. So that program but be very resource heavy .

Both and a tablet. A laptop cannot do big graphic work with 3-4 photo editing software programs, thus a big desktop with 16GB of RAM and two external hard drives works great for photo editing. The laptop is great for documents and day to day things. My tablet is for fun.
