axl rose is a douchebag cause he ran off stage at giants stadium in 92 when some asshole hit him with a tossed bottle so, while i will never pay to see him again he is a better singer. in retrospect i should have left after metallica left the stage as some were.

kurt was awesome, and i was reading a rolling stone article on him, and it was so sad that i almost cried. he had lots of problems, but music helped him feel more comfortable with the thought of actually living.

Kurt & Nirvana killed the metal scene back in the nineties. But its coming back! Long over do. But, Axl may be A self richeous prick but he can sing alot better than Kurt can.

You're right, the fact that Axl is vastly superior when it comes to breath support and pitch control on TOP of the fact that he killed Kurt in terms of range makes him a better singer.

Axl was a good singer but Kurt Cobain brought something no one had seen before. Grunge and a different way to write lyrics. His lyrics are immortal and help people through the bad times. May he R.I.P.

I was lucky enough to see GNR warm up The Cult for Appetite for destruction, and the Cults electric album in Houston, Texas, I have been to a million concerts, and back then, everybody was there to see the Cult including me, but Guns N Roses was freaking incredible, The grunge movement just paled in comparison to that era. I mean, Nirvana put out good albums, but the stage presence is not even close to be mentioned in the same breath as GNR.
