The bear has a very very thick muscle structure protecting its spine at the neck. That would be the only vulnerable place on the bear as everything else is within the grasp of his hugely powerful claws.

I would think the bear would win. but that is just an uneducated guess.

The Siberian Tiger would opt for the best possible outcome because bears have horrible eye sight. The tiger would recognize what it was up against while the bear's first instinct would be run if surprised.

Bears have normal eye sight, but they don't see colours.Of Course they haven't not the perfect eye sight, like the tiger, but they have no horrible eye sight.

Yes horrible eyesight is an exaggeration. Perhaps it would be better to say horrible eyesight compared to their unmatched sense of smell. The outcome though would still be decided by the tiger imo.

Siberian tiger chunks all over the forest in a matter of seconds... none larger than a pack of cards.

I have no clue what you mean by 'vs' but the Siberian Tiber is far more beautiful.

Of course, with it being such a 'catch -weight' contest, with the bear being so much heavier than the tiger the bear would be very much favourite to win the contest. However, nature can very often throw up some surprises in the scenario painted here. After all, as the saying (true!) goes:
"It's not the size of the dog in the fight that counts, it's the size of the fight in the dog." (!)....

its not the size of the dog in the fight that counts but the size of the fight in the dog
its not the size of the dog in the fight that counts but the size of the fight in the dog
