Kelly Clarkson Wears Bandage Dress: Hit or Miss?

Celebrities love bandage dresses -- and Kelly Clarkson is the latest one to give it a try. The "American Idol" winner rocked a dark blue $1,350 Herve Leger dress at the Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas. And while she's looking slimmer than she has in years, the skin-tight style was a risky look.

In other Clarkson news, a person familiar with Super Bowl entertainment plans told The Associated Press that she will sing the National Anthem at the Super Bowl on Feb. 5. Clarkson has also been making headlines elsewhere...ever since she voiced her support for Ron Paul, stating that if he "wins the nomination for the Republican party in 2012 he's got my vote."

"I love Ron Paul. I liked him a lot during the last republican nomination and no one gave him a chance," she tweeted. "Out of all of the Republican nominees, he's my favorite," she added. "Ron Paul is about letting people decide, not the government. I am for this," she also said.

Politics aside, do you think Clarkson worked her curves in the bandage dress? Or do you think that type of look is better left to pin-thin toothpicks? We kind of think she rocked it.

I like to see her curves and think she looks hot in the dress, slimmer people have worn the style and do so differently.. but that doesn't make this not attractive.

Why can't there be more than one result from a style that is still attractive and worthy? The model you have featured is your classic tall slender model, that has beauty as well, but personally I like the curvy girls to wear skin tight clothes sometimes too, show off the various shapes if you can work it.

Just because the model is skinny and tall doesn't make her attractive in the dress. Also, people have their own styles. You can't make the judgment of how something SHOULD look.

The fact that a girl this beautiful is now considered fat, or in some way unattractive in our society is VERY frightening to me. (especially for the guys who are saying it, I guess male homosexuality, really is taking a firm hold)

The fact that people seem to be promoting skinny chicks over more realistic fuller shaped women.. has very very little or even nothing to do with people being gay. Everyone has different tastes and making what appears to be a jab at any group just makes you seem silly rather than getting your point across.

Funny, I never said wanting women to look anorexic is natural, I personally find it distasteful. I stated being a troll and claiming that had something to do with homosexuality which is another topic all together was both immature and rather stupid, but thanks for validating my point. The trend of being over weight has been going on in the USA for over 40 years and is an epidemic. America has the highest incidence of obesity in the world.

When I went to school, this women was considered unusual not the norm.

Muscle is not a consideration in body mass when calculating over weight issues. You have forgotten the 'reasonableness' factor. Fat is.

Than again, there are many atheletes lately that have been dying very young. Makes you think about wht is going on with them. Probably too many steroids.

Homosexuality is about attraction to the same sex. It is not about being attracted to women with slender body type.

You do not need to be a man to understand sexual attraction or sexual orientation. It takes education and I suggest you educate yourself.

Homosexuality carries a big stigma for men, so to come out and be with a man is far too big of a risk, so they hide it, but they pick women who look like men. I've seen this several times over in my life.

And believe it or not, the University did not print YOUR degree and then stop, other people do have an "education" honey.

Just goes to show you what kind of derelict college you went to and how much your degree is actually worth. Fine Arts never amounted to much anyway, any only flakes went into those majors. You are a classic example of that.

To get a real degree at an accredited university, you do have to be smart. You have just never been to one.
