She's a far cry from the typical all-American girl, but Ke$ha wore the American flag as a sexy dress in V magazine's Americana issue. And that's not all! Find out which musician she may collaborate with at 1:15 in the video below!
The singer also comes clean about her wild persona (she recently admitted to urinating in public). "I do feel like there are the pop stars of the world and then I’m like their dirty little sister, running around with s*** on my face in combat boots because I can’t walk in heels," the 25-year-old star tells the mag. Ke$ha was born in Los Angeles and moved to Nashville as a child. She still has a home in the woods in Tennessee. "I have wild, wild nights there," she admits. "But my friends and I are all really private. We get f---ing crazy, but you’re not going to see me stumbling out of nightclubs."
So now that's she's "made it," is it time for her to clean up her act? Not really. Ke$ha wants to get the message across that "you don’t have to be rich and you can still be successful." She says: "I do feel like there is an element of what I’m doing that is about where I come from, which is working-class. I was never the cool kid, I was never hot in high school.
