Besides being a record-breaking songwriter and pop star, Katy Perry is known for the outrageous outfits that she performs in. One such outfit is a short white dress with oversized spinning peppermint pinwheels on it. Two of these pinwheels are strategically placed on her chest and are thus known as her "spinning peppermint bra."

But at a recent show, Perry suffered a minor wardrobe malfunction when her hair got caught in one of the wheels and pulled her head all the way down. Her tour insurers banned the dress claiming that it could seriously injure her neck. Are Katy Perry's risque outfits a little too daring or are her insurers overreacting a little?

NYPOST.COM reports:
Katy Perry's infamous "spinning peppermint bra" has been declared a safety hazard by tour insurers after a minor accident where her hair got caught in the twirling device.

Some might be a bit silly, but very cute and definitely not a hazard, I cannot imagine that she was experiencing a life & death struggle with her bra pinwheel, assuming there is no combustion involved with the operation of these pinwheels.

If you have a 'spinning bra' of some sort it is only logical to not put your hair in or near it. It's kinda like a fan, no? Your hair can easily get caught in that, too. She could continue to wear the dress-- all she would have to do to make it not get caught, would be the ever so obvious putting it up thing, y'know.

How many kW (power) have this propellers?
None, only a few milliwatts, just driven by small batteries, only enough for winching up some hair. Thats more a disturbance, but never a safety hazard.
Sack this insurance, they will never pay if something really happens.

I can defenitly see this as a hazard singers with malufuction wardrobe like Katy Perry's here can result into a neck injury if not careful, not only that in the neck there are headache veins that move around when you turn your neck, but you were in a position and her head reared off some, she can damage a headache vein and could get hospitalized, I have taken yoga a long time ago and if you do attend to move a headache vein the wrong way it would hurt and you could be hospitalized for that.
