Katy Perry has been caught on camera without makeup ... again. The sexy singer appears bare-faced in her upcoming 3-D documentary "Part of Me," E! Online reports. Sneak a peek at the real Katy Perry below.

You'll recall that ex-husband Russell Brand posted an unflattering TwitPic of Perry back when they were still married, causing a bit of a sensation (he took it down almost immediately afterward.) But this time around, Katy wanted to reveal her true self.

"When you see the film, it's a bit scary because there's a lot of shots of me bloated with zits and normal," Katy Perry told Ellen DeGeneres. "I think it's important to start breaking down the idea that to achieve your dream you always have to be perfect or flawless or live in some kind of fantasy world. So that's why I decided to put everything into the film, in the most tasteful way." Do you think Katy looks cute without her cosmetics?

I think she looks cute and the whole idea that a woman has to wear makeup to look better is insulting.

This is one of those "yeah-buts". All "made up" (and I'm sure there was a double meaning there), she looks artificial.
With no make-up on at all, she looks like my DW does when we are out in the back yard preparing our Spring garden - I mean, you don't want any of that goop getting in your eyes!

The fact that she's secure enough to show herself without all the make up makes her even prettier. She has a public, and a private persona. I applaud her natural look.

Katy looks SO much younger without makeup... But the crazy, makeup faced Katy Perry is the one I know and love. I don't think I'd want to have it any other way.

Seems younger. But what is it with the eyebrows, ladies? Could you please stop picking on them? She'd be just perfect without makeup if it weren't for the self inflicted damage on the eyebrows. By the way, the makeup version gives her an "adams family" look so I'm all for the fresh 'just out of the shower' appearance.

I clicked better but not 'really' because she's better without it, but she's not ugly or worse looking without makeup. She has a natural beauty I think. Did I make sense...it made sense in my head lol

I tend to look like death warmed over, without makeup...So I thank my lucky stars I can use makeup to help the situation. But I sooo envy those that look good without.
