Katy Perry has been caught on camera without makeup ... again. The sexy singer appears bare-faced in her upcoming 3-D documentary "Part of Me," E! Online reports. Sneak a peek at the real Katy Perry below.

You'll recall that ex-husband Russell Brand posted an unflattering TwitPic of Perry back when they were still married, causing a bit of a sensation (he took it down almost immediately afterward.) But this time around, Katy wanted to reveal her true self.

"When you see the film, it's a bit scary because there's a lot of shots of me bloated with zits and normal," Katy Perry told Ellen DeGeneres. "I think it's important to start breaking down the idea that to achieve your dream you always have to be perfect or flawless or live in some kind of fantasy world. So that's why I decided to put everything into the film, in the most tasteful way." Do you think Katy looks cute without her cosmetics?

I think she looks cute and the whole idea that a woman has to wear makeup to look better is insulting.

i can't stand that today society is based on wha you look like people are just so judgmental i think peopl should respect us they way we are diffrent cause who you are is who you are were meant to be don't change in who you are for others who cares what they think it starts with pride it starts in your heart for yourself if that what makes you happpy i hope it does !

That photo is just a really bad one! too be able to really judge you would have to get two photos with the same expression one with makeup and one without. then judge!

she's actually pretty cute without it. When she took that other picture it didn't look very good because of the weird expression, but in this one she's smiling and looks really pretty.

Im sorry but she just looks better with makeup. I mean, she looks more natural and normal, yes, but she is just prettier with makeup on. I think that she doesn't need a bunch of makeup (some of her makeup has been pretty tasteless) but I don't think that she should go completely natural. I think the pic on the left is a really good pic because she do nest have an excessive amount of colorful and crazy makeup. I think its appropriate.

Nope, still Katy. I would think, as somebody who's been a spokesperson for Proactiv, she'd know that wearing heavy makeup can clog up your pores and lead to more acne & skin problems if you don't remove it efficiently. Guess not.

I've seen Katy Perry at parties twice..once was at the ASCAP party she was photographed at in the picture on the left, and once where she was wearing makeup but less done up and more casual. She looked way better when I saw her less done up...she looked a little ridiculous and overdone at the ASCAP Pop Awards although you have to go overboard to look good on the red carpet with all that lighting..

That being said she does look better with some makeup on than she does with none, but hey so do I and most women.

A girl doesn't really need make-up. Those of you who say she looks worse is because, you are not used to seeing her this way. The world we live in today says for a girl to be pretty she has to "Cake" on the make-up. I think she is pretty with make-up, but beautiful without it.
