Katy Perry has been caught on camera without makeup ... again. The sexy singer appears bare-faced in her upcoming 3-D documentary "Part of Me," E! Online reports. Sneak a peek at the real Katy Perry below.

You'll recall that ex-husband Russell Brand posted an unflattering TwitPic of Perry back when they were still married, causing a bit of a sensation (he took it down almost immediately afterward.) But this time around, Katy wanted to reveal her true self.

"When you see the film, it's a bit scary because there's a lot of shots of me bloated with zits and normal," Katy Perry told Ellen DeGeneres. "I think it's important to start breaking down the idea that to achieve your dream you always have to be perfect or flawless or live in some kind of fantasy world. So that's why I decided to put everything into the film, in the most tasteful way." Do you think Katy looks cute without her cosmetics?

I think she looks cute and the whole idea that a woman has to wear makeup to look better is insulting.

I do:) I'm Mexican:) Mexican/latina wemen tend to wear makeup,look fancy,and sexy most of the time.It's a cultural thing.Most of my family in mexico wears make up.Even my grandma she's 63 and she still colors her hair,looks fancy and wears lots of make up:) So it depends on the person,but mostly the race you come from and where raised:)

I'm Mexican as well and unless I'm going out I'm not trying to do all that lol But you're right, there are lots of Mexican women who do that, constantly. I have them in my family as well. :)

So far, very uneventful. That will be the extent of my day but that's fine by me. It's too hot outside to do anything anyway. I'll stay in my rm with the a/c. How is yours going?

Oh I can imagine, well I can't but you know. Have an ex sister & mother in law who lived there for years so I got to hear how the weather was all the time. They say its a dry heat there so its better because of the lower humidity. In this humidity, I'll take the dry heat if that's the case.

Oh yes, it does get below zero too, during the winter months. During the summer we get into the 100s. Tomorrow we are looking at 100. The worse part really is the humidity, makes everything so sweaty & nasty!
