Pop songstresses Katy Perry and Ashlee Simpson were both photographed in the same ornate gown by Temperley London this year. Katy Perry wore it to the ASCAP Pop Music Awards in April, and Simpson wore it to the HBO Emmys after-party over the weekend. Alright SodaHeads: you know the drill... who wore it better?

Even though that one strap is slipping, Katy is still rockin it better. It accentuates her curves the right amount and her boobs look great in them. On Ashlee, it just falls down. No curves anywhere

It's a far better fit for her body shape. I don't particularly care for the over the shoulder bit, but maybe that was accidental.

The dress flatters her shape better. But the falling strap in this picture just looks sloppy. I hope it didn't stay that way the entire time.

Just a gut feeling on this one. Maybe the fact that her strap is about to slip off of her shoulder to hang by her waist has something to do with it.
