I have had a gray (white) streak in my hair around my R temple since my early 20s. As my kids got older and turned into teens, my oldest two boys started calling me "skunk" and I said OH HELL NO and starting dying it black to match the rest of my hair. There is a name for this type of streak, but I cant remember it. Jay Leno has one, also.

First off what's hair? Yeah that is the only color I have left for the few remaining ones I have. What really chaps my hide is having to go to a barber for very few hairs to be cut and the barber charging me a finders fee to locate them

At about age 35 I tried plucking the first one out of my beard. Hurt like hell, and a week or so later, there were two more in it's place. Plucked them, it hurt like hell again, twice, and about 8 popped up. I gave up. I've kept my hair short for the last 5-6 years because I cut it
myself. I've let it grow out a bit the last couple of months. It's odd, it used to be dirty blonde but now it is getting much darker and shows the gray even more. I don't care.

My grey started showing at age 14. I was under a lot of stress during high school. Eventually the grey started turning back to a dirty blonde color, but I noticed my first white hair last year, and they just keep coming. I'm not even 30 yet.

I was already going gray by 30, very salt and pepper by 40 and mostly gray now. Kids suck lol.-)

I told my Dad salt-and-pepper hair looks great and gray is a cool colour but he refused to believe me!
He uses Henna sometimes to keep his hair a rich shade of black.

My brother was the same, even even started balding in his early twenties O.o I don't know if the balding thing works in redheads favor as well as the graying, but my dad has only a slightly receding hairline in his older age. If you hadn't seen him when younger with more hair, you probably wouldn't even notice it.

Baldness is caused by genetics from the mother's side, if a man's mother's dad went bald he will also go bald. I know this for a fact because that is what is happening to my brothers.

Genetically women in my turn WHITE...it's a different hair color. I have been going white since 24 but, my grandma started at 14...so it tends to happen young in my family.

Redheads tend to go white over night rather than gradually graying. My dad is in his 60s with red hair and no gray.
