Forget Katie Holmes ... her 6-year-old daughter Suri Cruise has always been one of Hollywood's leading fashionistas. And now Katie is trying to catch up with her.

Holmes, 33, and Suri were spotted wearing matching outfits in New York City, with Suri in a white skirt, silver flats and a navy-and-white striped shirt, and mom in a similar white skirt and checkered top, E! Online reports. They both looked pretty and summery, but are matching mother-daughter outfits just too nauseating for you to handle? Hey ... at least Tom Cruise didn't join in on the fun!

That's not matching... that's a colour-scheme. Matching implies the same patters and similar cuts and style. The two shirts are very different in cut and style and pattern, and the skirts only look similar because they're both white and they're both skirts.
