If you wish you could have gotten a closer look at Kate Middleton's wedding dress, now you have your chance. That is, if you can get yourself to London.

The Duchess of Cambridge's wedding dress, designed by Alexander McQueen's Sarah Burton, will be on display in the ballroom at Buckingham Palace from July 23rd to October 3rd.

The exhibition will also include Middleton's veil, tiara (borrowed from the Queen), Alexander McQueen bridal shoes, and diamond earrings, as well a video of Burton speaking about the dress and a recreation of the royal wedding cake.

Curator Caroline de Guitaut said she thinks visitors will be surprised by "how much detail and how much work" went into the creation of the dress.

The British monarchy is financially, politically and patriotically beneficial to the commonwealth. If it weren't, it wouldn't still be around after four centuries.

What I am meaning is that they really don't have much importance since the populace elect prime ministers.

It just seems like they are overblowing the whole marriage thing...I mean William is only a legacy because of what happened to his mom, that is it. He has done nothing to earn the kind of wide fame he has nor has Kate Middleton.

I have seen what I need! Look what I found out just by looking at it in TV.... The front heart-shape cut of the dress is awful it doesn't quite fit with the dress... The front cut is WAY TO DOWN!!! I couldn't even believe that was her wedding dress!! Even her sister was WAY better dressed then she was....and she knows that. Not even commenting about the rest...

Sorry Kate Middleton it just wasn't quite right...

Frankly, I don't care much about the royal wedding. Which is bad, because I'm English and they are the Duke and Duchess of the city I live in. But I can't help it. I've got better things to do. Still, it's a nice dress.
