Move over, Angelina Jolie -- Kate Middleton has the thigh-high slit down pat. The Duchess of Cambridge arrived at a "secret engagement" in London on Monday night wearing a cream dress slit to the thigh. But was it more risque than Angie's? You decide.

Other than the sexy slit, the dress was pretty demure from head to toe, with long sleeves and a high neck. It is thought to be a slightly altered design by Roland Mouret, which has been previously worn by model Amber Valetta in 2009 and former French First Lady Carla Bruni. Kate has worn Mouret designs in the past.

Kate paired the dress with crystal-studded Jimmy Choo Vamp heels, which cost about $780. She kept her makeup simple, with nude lips and a smoky eye, and left her hair long and straight, revealing sparkly earrings. The Duchess' best accessory? Her handsome prince. Prince William was reportedly a guest speaker at the private dinner.

First of all, it is fairly unlikely she would be Queen, unless her father in law does not want the position, and it passes on to William....that said, this slit is nothing, Angelina's is hooker high in my opinion....Kate is elegant and wears everything well, however I think this is one of the most unattractive over all dresses I have seen her in. BUT wow, I love her shoes...it's just the dress needs something...or maybe not...I just can't decide....

I do think William should get away from those double breasted, double back vented suits...they make him look to square, and his butt look fat....A single breasted shaped to the waist, with a single back vent, and less "wide" pants would look sooooo much better on him...

It really doesn't show that much leg.If anything, it looks slightly frumpy on the bottom (might be just in that picture though) and the top of the sleeves look a little awkward.
