Kate Middleton's Thigh-High Slit: Fit for a Queen-to-Be?

Move over, Angelina Jolie -- Kate Middleton has the thigh-high slit down pat. The Duchess of Cambridge arrived at a "secret engagement" in London on Monday night wearing a cream dress slit to the thigh. But was it more risque than Angie's? You decide.
Other than the sexy slit, the dress was pretty demure from head to toe, with long sleeves and a high neck. It is thought to be a slightly altered design by Roland Mouret, which has been previously worn by model Amber Valetta in 2009 and former French First Lady Carla Bruni. Kate has worn Mouret designs in the past.
Kate paired the dress with crystal-studded Jimmy Choo Vamp heels, which cost about $780. She kept her makeup simple, with nude lips and a smoky eye, and left her hair long and straight, revealing sparkly earrings. The Duchess' best accessory? Her handsome prince. Prince William was reportedly a guest speaker at the private dinner.
