Kate Middleton (technically Catherine, The Duchess of Cambridge) wore the same pink pleated dress twice in 11 days, repeating the $2,000 Emilia Wickstead frock at a luncheon at Windsor Castle on May 18 and a tea party at Buckingham Palace on Tuesday. "I've worn it before, as you all probably know," Kate Middleton told reporters on Tuesday.

The Duchess is winning over fashionistas and ordinary folks alike with her pretty yet practical style. Last July, she wore a green Diane von Furstenberg "Maja" dress to the British Consul-General's residence in Los Angeles, The New York Daily News reports. She repeated the same dress at Zara Phillips' pre-wedding party two weeks later. How often do you repeat outfits?

At least she is getting some wear out of the dress. Most royals wear an outfit once and never again, after paying large amounts of money for them. That is a flagrant waste of money in my opinion.

the whole outfit, only the once. i always change my shirts etc but i tend to wear thesame pair of jeans 2 days in a row if i'm lucky enough to get through the day without the kids spilling something on them

When I am working I try to vary what I wear as much as I can. But when just sitting around at home, as long as it's clean and comfortable, I don't really pay attention. As long as Kate's cast-offs are put to good use by someone else, I don't care how often she changes.

Room for 3 pants, 3 shirts, and a jacket, with a hat shelf.
Or 3 dresses and a coat.

I'm still used to wearing my clothes to faded rags, lol.

For casual clothes, I'm on a budget, so it's not as if I shop for a month's worth of clothes.

I can't believe there are people who think wearing the same thing more than once isn't a good thing.... seriously? Well golly, sorry some of us don't have money coming out our ears to afford a new outfit for every day of the week.

I guess having about ten shirts, not including work uniform, and two pairs of pants is outrageous to some bourgeois.

A favorite shirt or a pair of jeans might get worn a couple days a week. No more than that normally because I have a wife that gets on me if I get too crazy repeating stuff.

I mean, I'll wear the same pants or something, or a grey t-shirt or an unremarkable sweater, but never anything really conspicuous. It's not that I own billions of clothes, most of the stuff I wear is really casual, I just find wearing the same thing too often totally gross.

Three days in a row actually. I don't go out of the house much (except for school) so there's really no bloody point getting worked up about clothes. Actually, there's no point anyway.
