Karl Lagerfeld has an infamous big mouth, but he should know better than to mess with Adele's legions of loyal fans. In a recent interview, the fashion designer called the soul singer "a little too fat." Lagerfeld told New York Metro "The thing at the moment is Adele. She is a little too fat, but she has a beautiful face and a divine voice."

And while Lagerfeld prefers Adele to pop music's current punching bag, Lana del Rey, he says del Rey is "not bad at all." "She looks very much like a modern-time singer. In her photos she is beautiful. Is she a construct with all her implants? She's not alone with implants." OK, so if Adele had implants, would he find her more attractive? Just wondering.

He also raised some eyebrows with his comments about first lady Michelle Obama's, er, posterior. "Mrs. Obama is not a fashion statement, but she has other things to do. My favorite thing about Mrs Obama was when she was asked if her skirt was not too tight and she answered "Why you don't like my big black a--?"

The first lady's director of communications Kristina Schake later released the following statement to Metro New York: "Mrs. Obama never made that statement." Yeah, we couldn't quite picture her saying that ...

NO!!! I hit the wrong button!!! I loathe Karl Lagerfeld. He's a creepy little man who hides behind over-sized sun glasses and usually carries a fan, a ridiculous affectation. Yes she's a big girl. So what.? She wears clothes well, has a fabulous face, and a great head of hair. He should keep his mouth behind that stupid fan.

Beautiful girl and so very talented. One does not have to be skinny to look good. But chubby is well, just that!.........However, if you like her music then why the bejeebers would you care? She isn't going to be hanging out with you.

Sure, she's a bit overweight. She can choose to stay that way if she likes, and plenty of people love her for her voice, but she /is/ overweight.

I think that almost all celebrites try too hard to be perfect. She is a more down to earth, real, believable person, and she is my favorite artist at the moment. Don't change for other people, let them realize what people you love already know, you are perfect as you are.

Most pictures of her are of just her face, because she does have a pretty face. Also she's always wearing black. She clearly knows she's overweight.

Yes, she's overweight. People seem to get offended and remark they "don't want to look at a bag of bones", or "want a real woman". These people seem to think the choices are either anorexic or morbidly obese.

If she wants or needs to lose weight or not depends on how she feels and how it affects her life. It's hard to tell with her since almost all pictures of her seems to be taken from the shoulders up.

she's naturally a fuller figured woman. if she was fat she would have a double chin. her neck/jawline doesnt look fat at all, thats how you know if its excess weight or not
