Karl Lagerfeld has an infamous big mouth, but he should know better than to mess with Adele's legions of loyal fans. In a recent interview, the fashion designer called the soul singer "a little too fat." Lagerfeld told New York Metro "The thing at the moment is Adele. She is a little too fat, but she has a beautiful face and a divine voice."

And while Lagerfeld prefers Adele to pop music's current punching bag, Lana del Rey, he says del Rey is "not bad at all." "She looks very much like a modern-time singer. In her photos she is beautiful. Is she a construct with all her implants? She's not alone with implants." OK, so if Adele had implants, would he find her more attractive? Just wondering.
He also raised some eyebrows with his comments about first lady Michelle Obama's, er, posterior. "Mrs. Obama is not a fashion statement, but she has other things to do. My favorite thing about Mrs Obama was when she was asked if her skirt was not too tight and she answered "Why you don't like my big black a--?"
The first lady's director of communications Kristina Schake later released the following statement to Metro New York: "Mrs. Obama never made that statement." Yeah, we couldn't quite picture her saying that ...
