Good one. Here is a thought I'd like to share Sunday is Father's Day for all those who's dads are still with them. Cherish him and be thankful for these days with him, for when he is gone you will realize he left to soon.
“We tend to forget that happiness doesn't come as a result of getting something we don't have, but rather of recognizing and appreciating what we do have.”
O.o While I can appreciate the sentiment, it speaks to something that I find to be bullshi* for the most part. In that many people say being happy is a choice. Sure, one can choose to do their best to make the most out of a situation they are dealt, but sometimes happiness just is not in the cards for some. That's like saying you should be all shi*s and giggles if someone punches you in the face >.>
No one will be happy all the time. That's a given. But many times you can make life choices and see the good in tough situations and have more happiness in your life.
Guess I took it the wrong way Ms Pearl. Haven't been that great myself lately, and I have heard entirely too much 'oh you just have to choose to be happy' Not that easy in some circumstances.
Here is a thought I'd like to share
