Some individuals would argue that competitive eating is wasteful and may have adverse health issues for participants. On the other side, the amount of food wasted is minimal compared to what one U.S. family throws out on a daily basis. Further, some would say that competitive eating is purely for entertainment and is a tradition that has been carried on for years. Do you think competitive eating is OK?
