After what felt like the longest pregnancy in history, Jessica Simpson finally gave birth to a baby girl on Tuesday morning. The name? Maxwell Drew Johnson. But how much does the newborn weigh? Find out at :50 in the video below. Trust us, it's a doozy.

That's one big baby! According to Us Weekly, Maxwell's middle name honors Jessica's maternal grandmother, Tina Simpson, whose maiden name is Drew. And as for the unisex first name itself, well, that's Jessica's fiance's middle name.

Simpson, 31, was VERY open (sometimes too open) throughout her pregnancy. ("I just started calling myself Swamp Ass," she told Jay Leno of sweating through her maternity Spanx.) But she decided to hold off on tying the knot until the baby was born.

"Eric and I love each other so much, and knowing that I love this baby inside of me is so amazing -- I love it so much and I haven't even met them yet," she told Us Weekly. "I can't imagine how much love we'll have for it once it finally comes!" So ... what do you think of the name?

Sorry, did not mean it as an insult. Just curious. My maiden name as well as my full given name were very unusual, and I found them a source of embarassment during roll call on the first day of school.

Jessica,what the hell was you thinking to name your adorable baby girl "Maxwell"?? When she enter into school the children are going to make fun of her and call her "Maxwell House Coffee"! There are plenty of beautiful names for your daughter and Maxwell is not one of them! Congratulation and change your daughter's name!! What about "SHYANN"?

The baby is a GIRL! not a BOY! imagine the torture that poor thing is gonna have to go through at school because of kids teasing her about HER name being Maxwell! Kids are much worse than adults, which is why adolecents commit suicide at a higher rate than adults. I feel sorry for the girl, Maxwell is more of a male name.

In magazines and on TV, she had stated that she wanted her daughter to be a girly girl. The baby showers show that she's got some cute little shoes and even little cowboy boots. She even said that if her husband bought her daughter Nikes instead of cowboy boots she'd flip.

Yet she named her MAXWELL.
