Jessica Alba got herself decked out for Fashion Week ... and so did her husband, film producer Cash Warren. The Daily Mail spotted hot pink nail polish on Mr. Jessica Alba's fingernails. Well, he was going to a fashion show ... and he had to find some way to stand out as the photogs went crazy for his stylish wife.

But Cash isn't the only dude rocking nail polish lately (and we're not talking about basic black, either). Heidi Klum's ex Seal was spotted in an airport in Australia Wednesday wearing neon yellow nail polish -- and no ring, The New York Daily News reports.

And last fall, USA Today noted the blue nail polish Johnny Depp wore to the premiere of his movie, "Rum Diary" -- which just so happened to match his shirt and handkerchief. We're not going to call this a "metrosexual" trend, because that term feels so dated.

But it does seem like fashion-forward guys are finally embracing nail polish -- and even, ironically, managing to look more manly as a result. Our only concern ... looks like there's going to be a much longer wait at the nail salon. Do you think guys should wear nail polish? Or does it look too "girlie" for your taste?

I've had this thought for a while now. If you like neat hair, why not neat nails?

I personally like men progressing into a more rugged look as they age...So the nail polish should be left behind in their early thirties or so...

I see how many have bought hook, line, and sinker the stereotypyes of what constitutes feminine and masculine we grew up with, 175 No, nevers so far. I'm not immune to fact it makes me kind of go tilt when I see it but I lived through an era that thought men with long hair after crew cuts were popular was feminine and worthy of negative and derisive comment with some lost of respect as well until it became fashionable.

Most of the women of my mother's and grandmother's generation I knew rarely worn nail polish, except occassionally to go out to a special event.

Personally it's not for me, just another unnecessary, fussy waste of time in getting ready to go out but we at this day and age we got to get past judging a book by it's cover nonsense if someone wants to do it.

I don`t see how wearing paint on your body makes you less of a man. Really, why are we still caring about such trivialities when there are more important things to care about? I don`t care what any other dude chooses to do with his appearance.

One thing I will never do is wear nail polish or makeup. Simple fact if you do wear it then you should question your manhood. (brittle nails and clear nail polish excluded for work reasons)

I have once because I passed out and my friends thought it would be funny to paint my nails.

Since when has nail polish been JUST for women? Guys have nails, too. Painting them doesn't make them any less masculine.

imo that's just weird...and it reminds me of the local cross dresser back at home *shivers*....I can understand goth guys wearing it but anyone else...no. "Come on Hon let's go to the salon and get our nails done"....just does not sound right coming from a guy. I'm all for manicures and clear nail polished on men...but colors...PINK!?...no lol but as always...to each his own.

Like I said, just in my opinion. I'm all for men wearing pink. As in a nice pink button up shirt. I think it's sexy ;) Reminds me of the movie Alfie, he said if you ooze masculinity like him, you won't have any reason to fear pink lol I don't think he was referring to nail polish.

Look, I sometimes wear pink, like a baby pink, kind of nude, like a french manicure. It is less obvious than the black I am wearing now, It looks clean and neat, and not effeminate. I won't wear bright colors though, like powder blue, lime green, or bright yellow, or neon pink. I really think that nail polish on men will be mainstream soon, as soon as men realize its not a big deal. I wear it all the time, to the market, to the movies, to restaurants, to work. A mans hands don't look effeminate just for wearing nail polish, just look at my hand, it is a big hand, hairy and with my wedding ring, my big watch and my big long fingers.

Looks like Seal spilt some of it down the front of his shirt. Or is that just on my monitor? Anyway...

I don't think the pink works as well as the yellow. Looks a bit too girlie, but I think if a guy has an ounce of style he could find a colour which works well. Other than just stealing his wife's nailpolish, which she does not look happy about.
