Japan Makes Bra For Men: WTF?

Bras have been made for men for years. It's only the publicity for the Japanese company that has brought it to the publics attention. I think you would be surprised how many straight guys wear bras....and panties.....and corsets...though not all need them for 'support'

how long before men are wearing lingerie or something. If you want to see something strange go to lingerie for men infomercial(i don't know how to make a direct link). creepy.

Nothin' wrong with men dressing in women's clothing, or vice versa. If that's what they're more comfortable in, then I say go for it!

People have been designing and manufacturing clothes specifically intended for cross-dressers for a LONG time. Japan is definitely not the first.

Lets think about this for a second. Women wear mens clothing all the time. No one says Eww, Gay or anything, most people think its hot.. Women, when you wear mens boxers, do you want to be a man? Uh, I doubt it.. You do it because it feels good.

Why cant men do what they think feels good? Why is this same right not afforded to men? You are not defined by your clothing. Your clothing does not make you gay, in whatever you chose to wear.

Recent studies suggest over 40% percent of the male population has tried womens lingerie at one point in their life. Lots of men wear panties every day, and you'd never know, the same study put that at 1 in 5. And the men surveyed were STRAIGHT. Some of them married.

It boils down to a stupid double standard between men and women, and small minded people that think their clothes define them, and everyone else.

It is an elastic band that goes around your chest - you cinch it tight to ensure that it does not slip down and will hold up whatever amount of weight you are carrying on your chest. If you are well-endowed, the straps over your shoulder eventually carve permanent niches into your shoulders from holding the weight.

uhh. yeah i'm female, and there is nothing uncomfortable about wearing a bra, as long as it's the right size for you and you don't have ridiculously massive tits...and yes i can breathe properly....and have never heard anyone complain that their bra causes them to suffer...the only problem i've heard of from women with massive tits is back problems, not bra problems....

getting back to the point, if a guy wants to wear a bra w/e it's his body and he has the right to do with it as he pleases (habeas corpus) im not saying that other men who choose not do to so have to agree but if they could lay off the homophobia a bit, the world would be a better place. ^_^

I was kidding, actually - snicker snicker, poor dudes - but you're wrong about no one forcing it on people. Women are required to wear bras in most offices - check it out; OSHA in Nevada actually sent out a memo a couple of years ago reminding people to wear "appropriate undergarments" to include bras for women, and nylons if they are wearing a skirt (now THOSE are seriously uncomfortable on a 110 degree day!). Girls can be sent home from school for not wearing a bra. Gloria Steinham notwithstanding, bras are still required equipment.

Least you have the option of wearing a skirt. Most offices are a pants-only rule on the male side.

Actually, that was ruled unconstitutional. If women are allowed to wear skirts, they have to allow men to. 'Course, in the middle of a depression with so many "right to hire" states, it might not be worth pushing it, but the case law is there...

Maybe some kind of chest girdle would be more suitable.
Besides, it can't be a bra if it has something inside it that looks that gross.

I think that there were no controlversy about this problem. If a man like to wear bra, he can do. Just simply he likes it. Men have right to wear it for their comfort.This is not an odd thing or an illness. I support for this because I also wear bra.
