My wife's Dad and Mom came down and we all went to my parents. Hung by the pool and then made some serious steaks for dinner. Good day with great people.

My daddy and my dear mum have moved on to (I hope) a better place, but I remember them every day and am so grateful they taught me the important lessons in life and made me who I am today. They are gone now, but I was so lucky to have them while they were here :-)

My sons- in-law are pretty good dads so we are celebrating. My daughter baked and decorated a cake for my son-in-law Jim. He is a good dad. My own dad passed years ago and I still honor him also today.

No but I would if I had the opportunity. My dad died when I was 16. It is hard for me to understand why children do not appreciate their parents. They just do not realize how lucky they are if they have their parents for many years of their lives.

My Father died 40 years ago, my wife passed away 2 years ago and I Sitting around waiting for St. Peter to knock on my door! One year ago the Doctor told me I had about 6 months to live and I'm still waiting for his knock! But HAPPY FATHER DAY to all the Father out there!
