Is your wardrobe primarily "machine wash" or "dryclean only"?

You!

When my family owned a drycleaners, I didn't have any problems buying "dryclean only" garments. Now, checking labels for "machine wash" is the first thing I do when I'm shopping. Quality drycleaning is expensive and I'm too thrifty for all that! Heh.

    >.< Replace "dry-clean only" with "hand wash". About 2/3 of my clothes are only hand washable. Some of that I can put in delicates bags on a cold cycle in the machine; washing the remainder is the bane of my existence. I have only myself to blame for buying ridiculously high-maintenance clothes.

I only have four shirts that are Dry-Clean Only, and then my dress clothes, but that stuff is only about ten percent of my wardrobe.

I assume pretty much everything at Wal Mart is machine wash, so I really don't have to check the label. And if I do happen to wind up with something that is dry clean only, I still put it in the washing machine and hope for the best. I might have to take my purse in though....I love it but was not thinking clearly when I bought a pink velour purse.

I haven't had anything that had to go to the dry cleaners since I can't remember when. A friend of mine used to send her blue jeans to the cleaners because she likes the creases they put in them. Sheesh!

Over 80% of it - including the t-shirts - is supposed to be dry clean only...as if the clothes aren't expensive enough, their cleaning & maintenance costs almost as much!!

Living in Florida with the heat and humidity, we need clothes that can be machine washed. I prefer a warm climate, but with sometimes wearing an item only once... man in tropical clothing
