If you make it reachable and nothing impossible like "Go to the moon" then yes it is very reachable.

I plan to be more spiritual, more physically active and more healthy. The motivation comes from my unborn child, and I want them to be a healthy baby.

lol. You may want to re think that.
Our diet and nutrition research was done at the Mayo Clinic, in the mid west surrounded by 500 miles of wheat and corn fields,,, the diet research was sponsored by grain companies.
Do you suppose that may be why they say graisn have to be 60% of our diet?
You know, until 10,000 years we humans had no cultivated grain to eat.
How did the race survive all those 100,000's of years, in peak healthj, with no grain?

Our dietitians are sponsored by grain companies. Grains, and far worse Corn in all forms, makes you fat. Carbohydrates- It's all sugar in the end.
Btw, processed food has lots of sugar added to make it tasty. After living overseas for some years it was a shock to come back to America and eat all the heavily sweetened food.
American Corn is now sold all over the world, we are the largest food exporter bar none.
I wonder if that has a factor in the obesity rate shooting up around the world.

I don't consider "New Years Resolutions" more important than resolutions made any other time.

So I make up jokes about New Years Resolutions instead sometimes.

Btw, don't be too specific on your goals. If you feel overweight, say you want to achieve the average weight.
Since the average person is obese today, many will instantly have the gratification and pride, and bragging rights, of their achievement.

Reachable because I don't do NYD resolutions, I wait until Spring. Too much pressure to accomplish those New Year's Day resolutions so I haven't bothered in years. I wait until Spring, usually Easter, and reevaluate my life and do what I can to improve it. Much less pressure.

Go for the laptop. You can take it into any McDonalds and get free internet service,a desktop would be a bit unwieldy.

I have to disagree with the other comment. Desktops are known to be more powerful and easily upgraded, so long as you use a Windows/Linux base (Since you're gaming, Windows would be a wiser choice, but Linux, if you can make it work, is free). Cheaper for the same amount of power, but EXTREMELY powerful with the right equipment, whereas laptops typically have a 3 way triangle.

They're either really powerful and sturdy, but costly
    Cheap and powerful, but flimsy
    Sturdy and cheap, but mediocre.

But, really, it's a matter of how much you see yourself wanting to play PC games outside of the house.

I basically want a laptop with the power of a desktop.
I dont have the space for a desktop... and at the same time i need a laptop i can take with me to brazil..
Ik itll be costly... but ive saved up 400 dollars already..
my current laptop.. its fan is broke.. so its overheating all the time...
only way i can play games is if i have an ice pack under it at all times..
  • Tylurr Pookie 2012/12/29 00:41:08
    Tylurr
Sadly, you won't find a laptop with the power of a high end desktop. It just will not happen. Higher end laptops are extremely expensive, but do what you're talking about.

That's a lot of money though.
