Willow Smith is at it again. The 11-year-old superstar-in-the-making appears to have a tongue piercing in a photo she posted to her Instagram account. But, not so fast. A source close to Willow Smith tells Gossip Cop that the large silver ball "isn’t a piercing -- it is a magnet. Just a young girl having fun with accessories." Still, it looks pretty real to us...

Willow, the daughter of Will and Jada Pinket Smith, already has several piercings in her ears, and is known for her colorful hairstyles and fashions. She's gearing up to play Annie in a remake of the 1982 movie -- and we really can't picture Annie with a tongue ring.

Meanwhile, we doubt Will and Jada would let their young daughter pierce her tongue. Will recently said, "When Willow does bring a boy home, I’m going to screen him and find out everything about him. And that’s going to happen when she’s 40, when she’s allowed to go on dates!" Do you think Willow is too young to get her tongue pierced?

i'm all for self expression and i'm all for peircings too (i have my tounge peirced), but i feel the earliest u can get any kind of peircing other than ur ears is in high school. so maybe 3 or 4 yrs frm now, yeah, get it girl, but right now is too young. and the supposed "peircing" in the photo is way too big to be a tounge ring.

~~HER BODY??? DUDE`` she is FREAKIN' 11 years old~~ not even in the SIXTH grade~~ this is why KIDS have parents and grandparents to give GUIDANCE~~ till they are 18 or 21 or whatever in their State~~My daughter got a tattoo when she was 18~~ NOW she regrets it~~

im almost 15 and ive got my ears pierced multiple times and my eyebrow. im getting my lip nose and tongue done as soon as i get money. its HER body. and its removable so she can take it out when shes sick of it so the hole will close! if she regrets it, then she regrets it. just because someone doesnt tell her no doesnt mean she doesnt have guidance. so you can stop judging the people that let their kids have fun, because thats exactly what youre doing.

I don't really care, but when you're that young, your ideas don't last long. I've been waiting for pierce my lip for 3 years now, and I think I'll wait until I'm 18 and completely sure.

It's going to depend on the law where she lives. In most states, the minimum age for any piercing that is not intimate is 16. However, outside of the law, can an 11 year old really understand what goes into caring for a new body piercing. I know there are some really mature 11 year olds. However, I do know that there are people who are 16+ who don't even know how to take care of a simple ear piercing. My point here is that it is all realtive.
