Not sure. Yes if you are married or in a committed relationship.
If you are in between or outside of a committed relationship, I don't know.
If you are addicted to porn, then DEFINITELY yes.
I have realized there are many things that the Bible is silent on that PEOPLE have added to the list of sins. I suggest read your Bible and pray for guidance.
What I found pitiful is that so many men watch porn instead of going out, date women and make love with them.Adult men watching porn act like eternal teenagers.
As for the effect of porn on men libido, it diminishes it and make many of them helpless in bed.
I voted undecided because "SIN" is to much religion related but I do think that porn damages men abilities to date women
If it's something you really want to do then why spend time using religion to discourage you from doing it? There are a lot more things you could be doing that is far worse than watching porn.
Silly question....of course you should not watch this trash - if for no other reason than it waste time you could spend doing something useful besides tugging your pud.....
I'm just not one of those folks who believes that sexuality is somehow naughty in thought, word or deed unless, of course, it involves inflicting physical or psychological harm.
Watching porn is not a sin. Becoming addicted to it can lead to unfavorable situations yes. But that's like blaming cookies for making someone fat, eating a cookie is not bad, eating a bunch of them all the time, on the other hand, is bad for you.
Of course not. It can become an issue when a person becomes addicted to it, but it's normal and not a sin...granted I don't follow Christianity anyway.
It is a Bible word - appearing in the New Testament six times. Mentioned by Christ, Paul, Peter and Jude. It is a Big Word - 14 letters long. It is a Bad Word - spoken of with great condemnation in the Word of God.
Today many woman professing to be believers in the Lord are carrying themselves in a lascivious way mostly by ignorance. Almost two thousand years ago the women in the church fell into the same trap. Notice what happened as described in I Timothy 2:9-10, "In like manner also, that women adorn themselves in modest apparel, with shamefacedness and sobriety; not with broided hair, or gold, or pearls, or costly array; But (which becometh women professing godliness) with good works."
This means they were professing godliness but not practicing it. The way they were dressing and the emphasis on jewelry was not pleasing to God. The ways of the women of the world were slowly infiltrating the Church.
What is lasciviousness?
According to Webster's dictionary it means, "Loose, wanton, lewd, lustful, irregular indulgence of animal desires, tendency to excite lust and promote irregular indulgences."
According to the Barnhart and Thorndike dictionary it is simply defined, "feeling lust, showing lust, causing lust."
27 “You have heard that it was said, ‘Do not commit adultery.’ 28 But I say to you that whoever looks at a woman to desire her has already committed adultery with her in his heart. Matthew 5:27
I know that one but I wanted something that expressed the whole Idea of how objectifying Sex the way Porn does is belittling and causes enslavement of the Soul to the Body
Uh. . .just for the record. . .I feel it's important to point out that, depending on cultural norms and how one defines words like 'excessive' and 'irregular,' I, too, have fallen prey to 'lasciviousness.' I think human beings are literally hardwired to be 'lascivious.'
The closet example I can think (off the top of my head) is Daniel 13 but that was actually two fogies breaking the 9th Commandment claiming to be voyeurs in order to get some.
I think it depends on a lot of factors; the 'kind' of 'porn,' how one defines 'porn,' what one does with or as a result of looking at it, etc. By itself I don't think looking at or merely admiring the naked human form is sinful.

but a lot of it gives the wrong ideas to folk with 'issues'.
