Maybe consumers have grown to become uber-sensitive to things that are cutting-edge and a little controversial, but some critics are definitely upset about the latest cover of Vogue Hommes Internationale, where model Stephanie Seymour is being choked from behind by a male model.

Critics find the cover, which was shot by the popular-yet-edgy photographer Terry Richardson, unsexy and say that it sends the wrong message to both men and women. Do you think the cover is too much? Or are its critics being a bit too particular?

It doesn't look violent, she doesn't look like she is trying to fight him off, and some people are into that. If anything, it just looks lusty, and sensual.

Besides that, his hand isn't tight enough around her neck to choke her, so it looks more like he's just tilting her head to the side to get more neck (awful turn of phrase, sorry).

Heck no. Choking a woman from behind that you just met that day for a one shot modeling job isn't domestic abuse! It is a depiction of sexual abuse! Bogue just wants to shock for the advertising value on its controversial cover. Any one with a right mind knows this is just an advert, but our brains instinctively see abuse!
