J-Walking? Apparantly Its A Law Where You Can't Cross The Road If The Lights Are On Red. My Mom Was In Vegas The Past Week, She's Just Come Back And Told Me She Nearly Got Done For It. I Nearly Pissed My Sides Laughing >.<

Stop lights and walk lights are put there for your safety. The right turn on red negated some of that. Most communities do not enforce it too stringently, but in some highly congested urban areas the neon lights confuse and distract both drivers and pedestrians alike. A few years ago I was on A1-A in Daytona beach and watched two elderly ladies step into the path of a BMW motorcycle. Both died from their injuries. I don't think that there was a crosswalk within a quarter mile.

yeah its a law. me and my family did it near the police station and courthouse once till one of my mom's friends told us not to because it was called J-Walking and it was a law everone has to follow.
