    My dad was a fantastic role model. Take my word for it, he's in history books. His character and patriotism and integrity and the whole nine yards were not just hard to believe but he maintained them throughout my entire lifetime until he passed away in 1996. I just wish we could have cloned him and sent them all to Washington. God, America would never have gotten into so much trouble if we had had more like him running the show!

    I think both of my parents were role models. My Dad instilled a good work ethic in me in the way he went to work every day, took care of the bills, did work around the house and kept everything in shape. My mother also worked hard both outside the home and in the home. She always had a clean house and dinner on the table each night. And she was always there for us when we got home for school. I learned how to be a good parent from them.
