Our soul lives on after our physical bodies expire. We've each got a "use before" date stamped somewhere on us where we will never find it but God & our Guardian Angel's know where it is and what it says. Our souls have even been known to travel around out of our bodies while we are sleeping. An interesting book about it is called Journeys Out of the Body by Robert Monroe.
