    Nah - only the superficial insecure people of society are. They base their entire lives on what the media shoves in their faces. The entire society would never function right at all if EVERYONE were gullible fools.

    YES! Good article, btw. I think we have too much free time, and need to get our minds on somthing other than ourselves. Yes, adolescents are necessarily preoccupied with such things, but marketers have found a LOT of money to be made in creating/exploiting insecurities in that group. In all of us, really.

    In any case, we need to stop obsessing and start pitching in. There's a lot of work that needs to be done on this planet!
