as a Christian I'm going to go ahead and say that I believe my faith is the one true faith. does that make it better? yes. does that mean I despise all others - no.

They all convince people into believing in superstitious mumbo-jumbo. religions are toxic

But, some churches have better doughnuts after the service. I love Episcopal Church doughnuts! MMMMMmmmmmmMMMMMM.

Definitely not. None are better than the other. To put a religion above another would also put that group of people above another which is not right. All people, like all religions, are equal.

    I believe all religions teach:

    Do Good
    Be Good
    Receive Good
    Have Faith
    Believe in Life
    Love Unconditionally
Keep the Rules of Life as a whole.

This is what I follow and respect all religions equally...

I find it confounding that Muslims fight among themselves (Sunnis and Shi'as) but more confounding are the Christians. How can there be a "right" kind of Christianity? I have heard this said many times. Look at the disagreements between the Catholics and the Protestants. Good grief. Then throw Judaism into the mix. If you are going to be a monotheist, then shouldn't you all agree?
This of course doesn't take into account the polytheistic religions. They have every right to believe what they want as do the atheists.

God sent one Son. He lived, was crucified, died and rose 3 days later. The Jews, muslims, Catholics and Christians know it.. His name is Jesus Christ and no one will get to the Father without going through the Son first. It is written and it is so. Religion will send you to hell but Jesus Christ Saves.

Eastern ones in particular. Rather than turning to a divine being, that may or may not even exist, for salvation, religions and philosophies of the east show that the answers you seek all lie within yourself, and are within reach if your willing to try hard enough. Plus most of the time they don't seem to mind who you have sex with, what you eat or what days you decide to worship. They seem pretty inclusive to me.

Of course the best religion of all time has got to be:
    agnosticism

I want to say 'yes' because Christianity celebrates and honours the sacrifice of Christ for our sins, want other religions don't recognize that sacrifice. On the other hand, people of other faiths are doing their best to live according to God, and adamentally believe that their religion (just as strongly as Christians believe their religion is the right one) is the right one. I believe that all religions, Christianity included, are incomplete and at least partly wrong. Still, I wouldn't give up my Christian faith for anything.

Look at the death toll of the religion in question. The lower the number the better the religion is. So Buddhism is the best religion if we look at it in this fashion. I'm a satanist personally. It saddens me to know that some of my brothers of the cloth have killed in the name of our religion, but at least we've never been in a holly war :)

Only one religion can be right. It is highly probable that all of them are wrong. All of them operate under the belief that they are right. They ignore probability and believe irrationally. There is a slim possibility that one is right, but since it's only slim and there is no evidence backing up any religion more than any other religion, all are equally wrong until otherwise proven (or disproven). In theory, there may be one 'right' religion, but there is no way to tell which one it is or if it even exists yet.

In every religion, there is room for growth! But none have been properly seeded, and nurtured to do so! The hope is in what we do now, and next about it! (Is there's a way to do it without loving thy neighbor?) I doubt it,so lets open our hearts and minds!

    Brainwashing tool!
They all serve to control people and siphon money from them.
None of them should run government.
They all claim to have the real God and are willing to kill the others who worship the same God.
Buddhism and Hinduism seem to be the most harmless.

Do you include Buddhism in your belief? Or are atheistic religions exempt (I know, but that's the technical term)? How about polytheistic religions? The Ancient Greeks were a thriving culture, as well as the Ancient Egyptians. Please don't misunderstand, I'm not trying to be rude. I'm just curious.

I think all religions are great because there all different and yet the same we all worship A GOD ...... um or not (no offence to atheists and Wicca's) and all have something unique and beautiful I like learning about different religions its in lightning to learn new things about other religions I found a bible once when I was younger but my dad took it away telling me its against our religion to read it but when I started college a few years back I borrowed one from the resource room and read it I thought it was interesting : D ♥♥♥

"If there is any religion that would cope with modern scientific needs it would be Buddhism." Albert Einstein
I see little difference between the philosophy of Christ and the Buddha, but His message was more adulterated by the minions of the warrior Constantine...in my view.
    Einstein was opposed to atheism.

Religion or man's attempt to reach God always ends in failure but Christianity which is God reaching down to save man, there is no other way to heaven outside of Christ!

There are sincere people in almost every religion. But what really counts is what God says. The Bible refer to one true faith (Ephesians 4: 4,5.There is one body and one Spirit, just as you were called to one hope when you were called ; one Lord, one faith, one baptism;) That agrees with(Matt. 7:13, 14,“Go in through the narrow gate; because broad and spacious is the road leading off into destruction, and many are the ones going in through it; whereas narrow is the gate and cramped the road leading off into life, and few are the ones finding it.) That is way it is essential to learn all you can about the Bible.
