There's a lot to be said for being with someone you're in synch with. I think this balances off the 'variety' aspect of hooking up at random. Now that I'm into middle age, I'd prefer a solid, long-term partner-- a wife or a serious girlfriend.

All the really important stuff happens in the afterglow, anyway. Not much there if you're with a stranger.
