    Is that what people consider "obese?" Her butt isn't THAT big, and her belly will probably flatten with a couple months of working out. This is NOTHING compared to about 40-50% of America.

    To me she doesn't seem to be lecturing. She is extolling the virtues of a healthy diet and exercise. As long as it doesn't involve new laws enforcing it, I don't see any problems.

    MIchele Obama, as the first lady, can embrace any "cause" she chooses, just as any other first lady. As far as her figure, it may not be perfect but that doesn't mean she can't teach the perils of obesity.
