Is it wrong to lend yourself something that belongs to someone else without asking first?

And then be angry at the person when he/she calls you on it when return it? Even if it is in better condition returned?

    Most of the time it absolutely is wrong and you should ask first. There are some things, like tissues and bandaids, to name a couple, that you may need to borrow without asking if it's an emergency. Of course, these are not the sort of things someone lends you, but rather something you just take!
