Is it wrong to lend yourself something that belongs to someone else without asking first?

And then be angry at the person when he/she calls you on it when return it? Even if it is in better condition returned?

There are some things, like tissues and bandaids, to name a couple, that you may need to borrow without asking if it's an emergency.
