Take a look around. It has changed to some extent, but most people are still dating and marrying within their own racial/ethnic group.

I don't care whether they do or not, mind you. I'm just making an observation.

Uhhh, Not that I know of. White women all have different tastes. I am attracted to beauty, not race.

Though, there's a certain draw to Asian men, I still wouldn't date a guy just because he was a certain race.

The divorce rate is not the argument in this conversation. That still doesn't justify why gays should have the right to legally get married. Marriage is between a man and woman end of story. You need to stick with civil union and be happy.

When the hell did this turn into an argument about same-sex marriage? You claimed that, and I quote, "No relationship will last unless Jesus Christ is at the center." I countered your argument using statistics. Atheists show significantly lower rates of divorce than Christians. The reason for this is because far too many Christians base their entire relationship upon their religion, rather than the relationship itself.

If you wasn't at every church at one time that's nothing, but man made statistic to justify that it is a higher rate of divorce between Christians. You don't know whether that is factual. you was not at every divorce hearing to determine that.

XD Yeah, that is silly, isn't it? This was back when I was in High School. I've always dressed Goth, so nah. He was actually into Punk Rock himself, so it wasn't the subculture thing, it was the fact that I didn't "put out" or something? -shrug-

I figured it must have been in the past. Still, I have a good friend, he is black, and he doesn't like black women because he's a heavy metal type. He says that he can only relate to women of other ethnic backgrounds because the women of same background don't relate to him. I wished him good luck, because he just moved to Gainsborough and they are racist as all get out there. I'm actualy worried for him...... in your case, I imagine it is his loss, you seem like a nice person. It's a shame that so many people just want to get in and get out with relationships these days.

I have noticed that the black woman is least likely to stray from music that is relative to their ethnic background. I don't want to sound as if I am stereotyping, merely an observation.

Nah, it's just an observation, and especially true where I am too. I know two black girls/women that listen to more Metal than rap, but they still listen to rap from what I know.
