Is it true that if you go to Wendy's and say that you are not from the area, lost, and with no money, they are required to give you free food?

I heard something like that. Is it true because I might want to test that out some time...

But, it don't make sense unless they are checking your ID. They are not doing it in this city.

...for sure, but I would think they'd just recommend you go to a shelter (food pantry).

News to me, but with all the homeless I have in my area, if it were true there would be lines out the door daily.

I'm sure it's too costly to be doing that for every idiot who doesn't want to pay for their food.

I've never heard of that before and I severely doubt it to be true. Either way, don't test it because if it is true that's a waste of their goodwill.

And if it isn't (which is probably the case) you'll look like damn fool.

I never heard that before; however, if it is true, God bless them and please don't "test it out." If you have the money to pay for the food and are not lost, etc., please just appreciate the fact that there are good people out there who are willing to help their fellow man in trouble. If too many folks "test" this out, then the program may have to be discontinued, and that would be a shame. You agree, right?

It used to be KFC's policy to provide food to anyone who didn't have any money,if they asked for it.But that was years ago when Colonel Sanders was still alive,I believe they abandoned the policy after his death. As for Wendy's,I have never heard that they adopted any such policy.
