A locally owned restaurant decided to put up a "Gay Friendly" sign on the front door to encourage the gay community to eat there alongside with their straight customers of their business, was it really necessary to this ?

You really should of used 'other' as a choice.

It's their business they can put up any sign they want, but I'm not eating there.

how many gays would want to go into a dew drop in, cowboy redneck bar... or resteraunt... and I think they know where they do and do not want to go without a sign... but some gays may just like to patronize a gay friendly spot more than another spot...

well you give me one thing gays have contributed to the world as a couple I will change my mind. Its always going to be hedro thats why your here gays are just to blind to see that thier action are non productive no punn entended. They can do what they want but when they die of aids or old age no matter thier sickness dies with them.

my choice is what god intended it to be why should I have to accept them what have they contributed to the world, nothing but they spread aids like wild fire didnt they .they took away good people children mothers fathers because of thier tainted blood then the druggies spread it even more if you remove the gays from the mathmatics we would have never had a problem and I should accept them not in this life time.

It wouldn't keep me from going in, but I don't see why it's necessary.

Are we ever going to see "straight friendly" at gay and lesbian clubs? ha

I don't know, when my wife and I had dinner with her friend and her friend's partner, they ordered delivery - Chinese in fact. *grin* (But to answer you, they have never been hassled anywhere they've been, gay friendly or not, restaurant or any other type of store. But then IMHO two women at a restaurant attracts a lot less attention than two men, if they are being noticeably femme.)

Fair enough. I've never noticed a difference in service. Of course, I'm not gay so I can't speak for them.

Sometimes gay men get BAD service from the waitress or waiter --You feel their bad vibes showing through --

It doesn't really make sense, but it is their business. It may incite some protesting, but who cares? I wouldn't do it, though. Food has nothing to do with the sex bed.

It is their business and yes they can put up the sign, it is my money and I would not go into such a place.
