Ah,
Beyonce. Her song "Single Ladies" is supposed to be an empowering tune for single women, but really she's kind of bummed that he never "put a ring on it." So is it possible to be happy when you're single, or what?

Author Kate Bolick wrote an article for Atlantic Monthly about her life as a 39-year-old single woman and why a growing number of women are putting off or passing on getting married altogether.
"Today marriage is an option, not a necessity the way that it once was, and that’s revolutionary," she said on the "Today" show. There are facts to back up her theory: The number of single adults rose to 50 percent in 2010, compared to 33 percent in 1950, according to census data. "According to the Pew Research Center, a full 44 percent of Millennials and 43 percent of Gen Xers think that marriage is becoming obsolete," Bolick writes.
Bolick says fewer people are marrying due to women’s relatively new financial freedom, an increase in college education, technological advances in how we conceive children and the acceptance of "hookup culture."
That said, most people we know are much happier when they're in love, whether they're married or not -- and hooking up rarely proves to be satisfying when the night is over. What do you think? Is it possible to be truly happy when you're single?
Deal with it and . . .Well, there definitely is an up side for sure.
Find it for you.
